Workplace motivation

Dissatisfaction in the workplace arises from the disparity between what people have to do and what they can do. For instance, when the work task surpasses capacity, stress ensues. Conversely, when the task far exceeds the abilities of the individual, boredom sets in. However, when the demands of the assigned task match the capabilities of the person performing it, the results are excellent. Indeed, it can be said that this is the moment when the task executor becomes motivated.

Therefore, it falls upon us to evaluate which stage we are in and how we can organize our current work to achieve efficiency. Sometimes, it is necessary to pose the right questions and focus on what truly matters to us. How many of us are engaged in work that we genuinely love? What activities do we genuinely enjoy? Does time fly while we work, or do we merely watch the hands of the clock move?
