Beliefs move the world. Many decisions are based on beliefs; we cannot function without them. Belief can be interpreted as believing in the truth of a statement without checking it and without thinking it through logically. In our everyday lives, we believe in many things. We believe in people, in ideas, in events, and so on. When we choose a profession, we believe that we need it and that it will allow us survival and joy. When we get married, we believe that this is the person with whom we will live in harmony. If we believe in ourselves and if we believe that we can reach the goal, we will.
For example, stock markets also operate on belief; if we believe that a company will prosper, we invest in its shares. If we believe that a certain political option represents our interests and will improve our lives, we vote for it. If we believe that a product is good for us, we buy it. Even atheists believe in God when they are in dire straits or if their lives are in danger. So far, things are pretty clear, but have you ever wondered how trust is achieved from a personal perspective? Can it be given or earned? Are you a person who can be trusted? What do we believe? I offer no answers, but it's certainly worth considering.
