The greatest anxiety is caused by the unpredictability of the future. In such conditions, people do not know what to do with their plans, ideas, and aspirations — where to place them or what form to give them. Stress creates a break in the time axis of the past-present-future continuum, and this break terribly upsets and disappoints people. Understandably, they turn to old photos and albums, unknowingly seeking to patch up this break in inner time.
Is it okay to continue with such a need? Yes, because it is necessarily important to call upon the known while the unknown future looms like the gaping mouth of a beast. In the present moment, let's wear a digital watch that shows us only the current hour and minutes to learn, like never before, what it means to be now and here with all your presence of existence. We will not give up on the future, but we will have to accept that maybe the way and the means to realize the plans and goals will now be changed. We will turn around or take some unexplored stairs to get to them. We will just have to accept that no one will promise us the future we want.
