Everybody wants to see the final outcome or the progress made overnight. That is just not possible, given that we can't anticipate meaningful outcomes in such a short period of time. We are now discussing progress, which is defined as moving forward or onward in the direction of a goal. We travel to a place and take our time getting there. It really depends on where you want to go in the end.
Give yourself some time first. It takes time for something to become a lifestyle, after all, it starts as a habit. You will eventually see the fruits of the work you've done, and you will find yourself walking to your destination.
Discipline is the second item. Discipline kicks in when you run out of motivation. Even when you don't feel like working, finish the task. If you stick with it, ultimately it will pay off. You can do things with discipline that motivation could never accomplish.
Thirdly, practice patience in this situation. Being patient is a really valuable quality. Nothing truly valuable arrives at you quickly. As you continue on your trip, you will eventually enjoy the benefits.
Never stop believing. Have faith in your abilities and yourself. You are halfway there if you think you can do something.
Avoid making comparisons. Everybody follows a unique path. Yours is distinct from everyone else's. Never judge someone else by their actions, especially if they're acting on social media.
Change the path, not the final destination. You don't change the end goal when the strategy isn't functioning. Modify your route to reach your destination.
Step by step. Baby steps and small steps. Keep going.
