In an acceptable way What does it mean to be responsible, in an acceptable way, and to fulfill one's own tasks and promises made to others? It means to respect ourselves, our conscience, and the people with whom we are in daily communication. A sense of responsibility helps a person confirm the value of what is naturally given to him. It involves the free will and ability to influence the course of his life and model it according to the current norms of the modern worldview. The highest degree of responsibility is required when we take charge of our own lives. This involves recognizing that freedom is simultaneously an obligation loaded with many temptations. For individuals who do not want to grow up and take responsibility, freedom can be a frightening prospect, so it can turn from the greatest blessing to the greatest curse.
Everyone has to decide for themselves what kind of life they will live and how they will do it. It is best to compare it with people who are convinced that the world does not owe them for achieving their success at work, nor are superiors, parents, teachers, or the government responsible for that. The responsibility is in the competence of the person and he should build it himself. All others who put themselves in a dependent role and were under the influence of others had little chance of success. Such people usually blame the outside world instead of facing their weaknesses. They very often lack personal responsibility for their inappropriate and reckless behavior. The trap is that such people deny the problems they themselves create due to their irresponsibility in fulfilling certain activities but rather walk the "line of least resistance" by refusing to accept their own responsibility and role in the process, unable, unwilling, and not realizing that they should change their behavior. Their defense mechanism is built on not recognizing the truth. They are governed according to the law of life: "What you don't admit, you can't fix." There is another big trap, and it consists of trying to rationalize with irrational attitudes and judgments. Every day, various excuses are found to cushion one's own impotence to change the situation. Very often, in the public sphere, the form "will" is used together with the verb "lying" and frequent excuses such as "I have other more important problems to solve"! With this attitude towards his own life, a person has an excellent chance to transform his laziness into addiction. Such people should immediately call an ambulance, because this condition can turn into a pathology that starts to create painful states of anxiety, depression, or some other painful emotional experiences.
