I'm tired is the best argument we have for ourselves, combined with the fact that I'm lazy. As everyone knows, when we claim we're exhausted, 90% of the time we're just feeling that way. Here we have “the 40% rule,” which is really simple. When your mind tells you that you're exhausted and totally tapped out, you're really only 40% done. You still have 60% left in your tank. That is about physical fatigue.
The next question that comes up is: What if I’m mentally tired? You can be, but you truly are not. Next time, when you feel tired, remember the words. Tired does not mean nothing. Being tired is only in the mind. That being said, if you tell yourself you are tired, you will feel tired. But if you tell yourself that you can push more, the energy will be there.
Don’t ever say that you are tired again.
